Tish McCrea MS LAc

I first became interested in acupuncture when I was in college. Acupuncture healed some chronic pain I was having at the time. After travelling for several years and working in various industries that left me unsatisfied, I went back to school and received my Masters degree in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1999 from The New York College of Health Professions. For several years, while building my practice in Huntington, I was adjunct faculty at The New York College of Health Professions. There I taught Chinese herbology, acupuncture needling and supervised in the student clinic. I left teaching in 2005 to focus on my private practice which has remained in Huntington  and specializes in fertility issues and chronic pain.
My ultimate goal is to assist my patients in healing themselves through natural modalities while teaching them what the body needs to thrive and be symptom free. I believe that proper diet,  adequate sleep and exercise, and detoxing when necessary, are the foundations for health and wellness. The body wants to heal itself and when properly nourished, rested, free of environmental toxins, and emotionally sound, it will.
